Steve previously served as the President and CEO of Ballreich Snack Food Company and led a group of local professionals who purchased the company in 2019 to help recapitalize the company so it would continue as a valuable operation in the Tiffin community.
His professional career also includes roles as Executive Vice President / Owner for an Employee Benefits Agency, CFO for a local manufacturer and Audit Manager for a national public accounting firm. He is a non-practicing CPA and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Toledo.
Steve has held a variety of volunteer board positions, including serving on the board of both Blanchard Valley Regional Hospital System and Fostoria Community Hospital. He is a former board president of the Tiffin-Seneca Chamber of Commerce and the Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership. He also has served as a school board member and president for Hopewell-Loudon Schools Board.
Steve and his wife Kim have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren.
