Marisa Huss, Director of Marketing, Seneca Regional Chamber & Destination Seneca County
Marisa Huss is a Seneca County native and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Managerial Marketing and Public Relations from Kent State University. Upon college graduation, Marisa moved to Utah for three years where she worked as a corporate sales recruiter for the experience management company, Qualtrics. Her role there ranged from university recruiting for entry level roles up to recruiting and hiring enterprise level executives. After her time with Qualtrics, she took the skills she learned and decided to make the move back home to Seneca County.
Marisa now serves as the Director of Marketing for the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and Destination Seneca County, the county’s visitor’s bureau. Marisa has been with these organizations for three years and loves the work she gets to do everyday. She oversees and assists with a wide array of the organizations’ marketing efforts such as strategy, design, social media, website management, photography, event planning and execution, programming, and more. Since Marisa has joined the organization, Destination Seneca County has brought back six state awards from the Ohio Travel Association for their marketing efforts and the Seneca Regional Chamber was named the Chamber of the Year in 2022 by the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio. Outside of work, Marisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being involved in community organizations, and loves to read.
