Ron Burns, Former Owner, Corporate One Benefits
Ron Burns is a native of Fostoria and a graduate of St. Wendelin High School. Early in his career, he gained experience working for his father before venturing into entrepreneurship in 1988 by starting his own business specializing in employee benefits. Over his 30+ years in the employee benefit and insurance industry, Ron witnessed and adapted to many changes, maintaining his position as a consistent force in the local market. His company, Corporate One Benefits, was sold to First Insurance Group in 2017, and Ron officially retired in December 2020.
Throughout his career, Ron has been an advocate for small business development. Over the past 30 years, he has invested in several small business ventures. In his retirement, Ron continues to give back by mentoring small business owners. His wealth of experience and knowledge makes him a valuable resource for budding entrepreneurs, guiding them through the challenges of starting and growing their businesses.
